HOW BRIDGET IS CHANGING LIVES, ONE DELICIOUS MEAL AT A TIME

Bridget Foliaki-Davis

Bridget Foliaki-Davis knows a thing or two about the power of food — not just as fuel but as a tool for transformation.

From leading some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens, including those of celebrity chefs Bill Granger and Tetsuya Wakuda, to battling her own demons with food and weight, Bridget, a chef and nutritionist, has seen it all.

After a deeply personal struggle that nearly drove her to the brink, Bridget turned her life around by combining her culinary expertise with a passion for health.

Now, as the founder of Bridget's Healthy Kitchen and the 28-Day Boost Camp, she’s on a mission to change how we think about weight loss: no more crash diets, no more bland meals, just vibrant, sustainable, healthy food that tastes good and is good for you.

Based in Taren Point, NSW, a personal tragedy in 2017 catalysed Bridget's shift from the high-paced world of professional kitchens to the health and wellness space.

After experiencing a miscarriage, Bridget turned to comfort food and alcohol to cope, leading her down a path of self-destructive eating and drinking.

She describes her struggle candidly, sharing, "I would eat and drink until I was so full I would need to physically be sick in order to pile more food in. I had become a recluse, locking myself in my bedroom, only leaving to retrieve more food and alcohol."

A turning point came when Bridget was faced with an upcoming TV appearance to promote her first cookbook.

Realising she needed to lose weight quickly, she turned to the internet for answers, discovering that gut health was a recurring theme in many weight loss plans.

However, as a seasoned chef who loves flavourful food, Bridget found these recipes lacking in taste.

"There is no way I would stick to those plans as I don’t want to live a life eating food that is bland and boring. I am a chef after all and for me, I love food!" she said.

Determined to create a sustainable and enjoyable approach to weight loss, Bridget began experimenting in her kitchen, cutting out gluten, sugar, and dairy while incorporating spices, herbs, and her extensive culinary knowledge.

The results were astounding: Bridget lost 11 kg in just five weeks and a total of 35 kg in under six months, all without extreme exercise or restrictive dieting.

"There was absolutely no stopping me after this realisation that not only could I lose weight, but I was enjoying every meal and relishing in my newfound energy and happiness," she said.

Bridget’s journey didn’t stop at her own transformation. She channelled her passion into helping others, writing cookbooks, building a strong online presence, and creating the 28-Day Boost Camp—a nutritional program designed to help others achieve sustainable weight loss .

"This lifestyle is not just sustainable, it is accessible to anyone who wants to see long-lasting weight management and health gain," she said.

The 28-Day Boost Camp is a comprehensive program that includes meal plans, health tips, and recipes—all of which are gluten-free, grain-free, sugar-free, and dairy-free.

"The recipes are delicious, restaurant quality and as I like to say—faster than fast food—so you don't have to spend all your time in the kitchen and get to spend more time enjoying your new body and this wonderful lifestyle."

Bridget’s mission is clear: to revolutionise the weight loss industry by showing that a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be restrictive or bland.

"I want to change the weight loss industry to highlight that crash dieting doesn't work. Yo-yo dieting is not the answer as it needs to be a sustainable lifestyle change to help someone create any real, lasting change," she said.

With tens of thousands of women already benefiting from her programs and many achieving significant weight loss and improved health, Bridget Foliaki-Davis is proving that you can enjoy food and achieve your health goals.
